Jazzanova T
The king of easy listening electronica has his own radio show, and now another avenue for sonarkollektiv showcases.
My own most recent exposure to SK business was the Jazzanova compilation, Secret Love 5. A blend of nu-soul folk plushed out with electro/acoustic indie flavours so mellow it’s almost muzak, its saving grace and groove comes from the stream of too smooth hum alongs, which shore up all the easy romance. The couldn’t get any mellower nu-bossa rhythms of “This Sea, These Waves” by Brent Cash and the dreamy campfire guitar of “Walking Home” by Crowd Pleaser and Ly Sanders” will likely find you turning the lights down low and sinking into the ultra-classy chill-out.
