All A Tweet About Twitter

twitterrecord1Either you think it’s god gift to the mediaverse or you just don’t get it, but the digerati is all alight about Twitter. The user-driven newswire still in its infancy has attracted everyone from Brittany Spears to your grandmother. And as backyard bloggers evolve into tweeter-stars, they beget the question, can you really tell us anything useful, nonetheless interesting, in 140 characters or less. Is this the nail in the coffin of net banality or is this the dawn of the ultimate telegraph for the masses. The jury is still out, but that hasn’t stopped the onslaught of tweets tweeting about Twitter. Yes, Marshall McLuhan would have a field day with this ADD driven medium riding the update status craze, but what’s more impressive yet is the amount of net babble talking about net babble itself. It proves once again the navel-gazing blogsphere’s talent of making messaging mountains of media molehills.

oh ya, and you can follow me there at twitter.com/Andabeat
